Open up Netscape Communicator and click on Edit and then select Preferences.

You now need to double click on the Mail & Groups, select and enter in the following information:

Mail server username: Your Username
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: smtp.syd.fl.net.au
Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: pop.syd.fl.net.au

Any other options you may see here on this screen, you leave them as they are. There is NO need to modify any of them except the ones explicitly mentioned above.

Now, click on the Identity button at the left. You now need to enter in the following information as shown below:

Your Name: Place your name in this field. This is your real name NOT your username.
Your Email: username@fl.net.au - Replace username with YOUR username.
Reply-to-Address: username@fl.net.au

Once you have done all of these, your Netscape Mail is now configured to be used.
